AMAZING GUITAR 2.0
The blues scales helpd develop some new riffs also gave the dvd to my son who is just starting to play guitar
Amazing Guitar 2.0 gave me a lot confidance in my playing leads
This program was an easy way to have a daily orgainized practice session. I am considering, given that this is summer vacation for me, declaring a grueling "Hell Month" in which I practice these exercises for the entire month of June instead of a meager week!
I have never played a scale before--it seemed too complicated and I didn't really understand a scale diagram. Playing the G scale in closed position has opened up a whole new world for me. Before I bought your video, I was a strum-along player knowing only the "campfire chords." Now, with your help, I believe I can really learn the fretboard and learn to play whatever I feel like playing. The tapping and string picking exercises have improved my technique enormously. I couldn't even use a pick when I started. I am looking forward to making the guitar the musical instrument of my life for the rest of my life. I washed out on the piano when I was a child because I didn't have the self discipline to practice and it has taken me this long to finally make a decision to learn a musical instrument. I will do whatever it takes and you will be my teacher. Thank you for your ingenious and innovative teaching methods. It's never too late to learn something new. BTW, I'm 63 years old. Thank you again and I'm looking forward to the next Amazing Guitar. I LOVE music and with your help I will be able to make it for my own pleasure. Susan R. Spencer
This DVD will help any quitar player really improve on learning their scales, advance your picking ability and I thought the the Blues Scale/Pentatonic was very helpful..!!!! Your are an amazing teacher and player......thanks for giving me a chance to improve by you offering your knowledge of years of playing and studying. Keep up the great work, it is greatly appreciated especially by me. Keep On Pick'n and Grinn'n Your Friend Always Lee W. Ashe Jr. Florida
Being 65 yrs. old my fingers/hands don't like they did when I was 25. A/G 2.0 has helped me a great deal, with the streaching and picking. I feel that I will become the guitar player I want to be.
It has really inproved my playing. But I really use it when i get in that rut you you don't fell your getting any better,Istop for a few day and just go thru your DVD. that really help me to get it moving in the right track again.Thank you
At first I found this to be a load of crap, and to tell you the truth at first I also found this too be a cooporation with other firms just to make money, but I was wrong, I did what Andrew told me, I did infact stick to the exersises. I saw the improvment, It was not magic, but somthing DID infact kick things up a notch, I did day 1's exersises for 1 week, day 2's for 1 week, so on, This might be alot more time then Andrew wanted me too use but it was the way to go for me, Slow as first.. Amazing guitar 2.0 IS a product that works, many thanks to you Andrew, 2.0 however is what the first DVD should be like, High Quality, Better Graphics & Animation , and of course a mutch better Andrew!
It has provided excellent foundational tools for ANY type of guitar or playing style. Awesome stuff!
It gives me a good track to warm up, stretch, strengthen, and practice with. Obviously, there was some duplication from the first one, but it is much improved in every way. It also plays on Win 98, which I have in my studio.

ULTIMATE BLUES PRIMER

1. Better understanding of Blues structure - better ability to improvise

2. The stretching excercizes and the picking notes patterns helped alot

3. I learned faster by seeing the techniques demonstrated on video.

4. I have not used it long enough to tell.

5. Helped understading some of the applications.

6. The blues primer DVD has helped in getting me to play with a blues feel. This I have been unable to achive with books and CDs

7. Using the workbook along with the DVD. Going over parts of the DVD as many times as necessary to get the concept is very helpful. Going over and over the 12 Bar Blues to hear the sound played right, in order to produce the right sound is imperitive. UBP has helped me understand the blues much better and laying a foundation. Thank you.

8. I have always wanted to play some lead in our band (we do covers) but i cant follow our 24 yr old lead player (i am 44) So I needed someone to break down the phrases. I am still practicing the jerry coirtez solo. I hope to play a solo over one of our chuck berry numbers soon

9. Understanding blues concept

10. Having a full band to jam with was a good touch. The solo w/Jerry Cortez broke down & showed very well on how he was playing his solo.

11. Sitting in with Jerry and use what I had learned about bass-lines, bends and vibratos etc really helpt me to put some peaces together. Amazing what just a short solo can do.

12. It helped me to understand the basics of blues music. I´m now able to make my own music, and when I ever I see a progression, I´m able to analyze it, and know how it is built.

13. I am just starting to play the blues. Learning the basic chords in different keys helped me the most. I am still having trouble understanding the solo's.

14. Much more confident in my playing, not scared to try something I "think" is too hard.

15. Better understanding of progressions and how to notice chord changes. The Cortez solo is good too.

16. Gave me a better all around picture of the blues

17. Easy to follow, good video graphics

18. Soloing has improved

19. It helped me understanding scales, not only improving blues playing, but playing in general. Thanks you so much

20. It hasn't really helped me in as much I knew all of what was covered on the DVD, I expected it to be somewhat more advanced going by the advertizing of it. It's fine for the real beginner, and that's who I would recommend it to.

21. To listen and understand how to play. This is good to get the right feeling how to play the strings

22. It has helped me to understand better the relationship between the blues chord progressions and the blues scales.

23. I was able to solo over the bands playing while watching for chord changes.

24. It's given me another perspective on how to learn blues. I'm just a beginner and feel that learning from more than one source is valuable.

25. It helped me understand the blues scales, and how I can build off of them. Also, The 12 Bar progression was probably the most help to me. I would have liked to have seen the tabs shown on paper, of Jerry Cortez's section. It was impossible for me, a beginner, to follow his lesson on his solo, by just watching him play. that was the only complaint I have, other wise, loved the lessons, would order again.

26. Gave a better understanding about the whole thing

27. It gave me a better understanding of what it takes to become a better blues musician 28. Explained how scales improve playing.

29. I improved my knowledge of the blues i.e. use the I IV V chord sequence for the 12 bar blues. My timing improved while jamming with the band.
